Hike and Climb all the way up Monte Pirchiriano to the medieval Sacra di San Michele! 🏰
Highlights:
• 3 sections (with exit options after each)
• Climbing passages, metal rungs & 2 Tibetan bridges
• Quick ~7-min walk from Sant'Ambrogio station to the start
🧗♂️ Difficulty: easy to Moderate (B/C – Beginner Ferrata)
⏱️ ~3h30m climb + 1h descent | ⛰️ +550 m
⚠️ Important: Beginner-friendly for Ferrata, but NOT for beginner hikers! Must be in good physical shape, experienced with mountain hiking, and comfortable with heights.
🛠️ Equipment Rental: No need to buy gear! You can rent the full Via Ferrata kit at the shop right outside Sant'Ambrogio station.
